''Junior Golf Mission 2016'' meet conducted in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Jan 27 (PTI) The fourth tournament of the"Junior Golf Mission 2016" was played at the Chandigarh GolfClub here today.

Aadil Bedi shot the best round of the day (82) incategory D to emerge winner, while Digraj Singh Gill (86) andArnav Jain (88) finished first and second runners-up.

In category C, Mankirat Singh won with a score of (81),while Karandeep Kochhar (85) and Jaiveer Singh (86) finishedfirst and second, respectively.

Jaywant Choudhary won on a countback in Category Bagainst Karandeep Bajaj after both scored an identical 78.

Harsh Gangwar finished second runners-up in the samecategory with a score of 79.

In category A, Dhrav Sheoron won the Championship byscoring (76), with Natasha Gill (84) finishing second best.

"The first EGTF Junior Golf Coaching Programme of 2011,which is also a part of the Junior Golf Mission 2016, willcommence at the Chandigarh Golf Club on 19th March. We welcomeall children, members as well as non-members to join thiscoaching programme," said BS Gill, president of ChandigarhGolf Club.
