Panaji, Jan 27 (PTI) Bharatiya Janata Party legislatorstoday met Goa Governor S S Sidhu and expressed concern overthe deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
The BJP legislators demanded that the Governor shouldmake statement on all the issues concerning the state duringhis address to the state legislative assembly on January 31.
Governor will address the assembly on the first day offive-day long session.
Leader of Opposition Manohar Parrikar said that thegovernor got "tense and disturbed" when they gave instances ofhow Digambar Kamat-led government had failed in the state.
"We have told him, and we expect that Governor will makestatement on all these issues in the address to the assembly,"Parrikar said.
BJP leader felt that the state is facing doom on all thefronts.
"There is huge drug mafia nexus, there is illegal mining,excise scam and scams in the name of Private PublicPartnership (PPP)," Parrikar said.
