Tata Hispano bags order from Avanza Group for 500 buses

Mumbai, Jan 27 (PTI) Tata Hispano Motors Carrocera SA,Tata Motors'' wholly-owned subsidiary in Spain, has won aprestigious order for supplying around 500 buses in the nextthree years to the Avanza Group, one of the largest privatepassenger transportation groups in Spain.

The order includes Intea Premium and Intea Low Entrymodels for medium and suburban routes, Xerus model for longdistance routes and Area and Habit models for urbantransportation routes, a press release issued here stated.

The buses for medium and long distance routes haveair-conditioning, LED day light, heating system, audio-videosystem, multiplex system and door safety systems, amongothers.

The Area and Habit models are in addition equippedwith wheelchair ramps and other features to make the vehicleseasily accessible for individuals with physical challenges,the release said.
