Itanagar, Jan 27 (PTI) Advocating preservation ofindigenous faith and culture among the tribes of ArunachalPradesh, Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu today said people shouldgive due respect to all faith and culture.
"Stick to your own faith and traditions withoutemulating others which could jeopardise your identity," Khandusaid while addressing the inaugural day of the fourth generalconference of the Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society ofArunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) here.
"The tradition and culture of all Arunachalese need tobe preserved irrespective of caste, creed and religion," thechief minister said and pointed out that fighting in the nameof religion is a crime.
Discouraging sacrifice of animals during festivals,Khandu urged upon the people to make necessary reforms in thisdirection.
"We should work for protecting nature and wildlife tosupplement our future needs," he added.
