Mumbai, Jan 27 (PTI) The International Cricket Counciland Yahoo!India today announced the launch of the officialwebsite of the ICC World Cup 2011 -- iccevents.yahoo.com, theonline destination to follow the happenings of the sportingextravaganza, starting from February 19.
The website would have live match updates, detailed matchanalysis, exclusive video content, engaging games andrewarding contests, an ICC release said.
Fans can also purchase ICC merchandise through thewebsite, the release informed.
ICC General Manager (Commercial) Campbell Jamieson saidhe and other members of the world governing body of the gamewere "thrilled to be working with Yahoo! to launch an onlinedestination that offers the exclusive ICC Cricket World Cupcontent in an innovative and engaging way."
Among the content will be "Commentweeter" to get aconsolidated view of Twitter updates directly from cricketfans and the top cricketers of the world in one single view,the release added.
