Clinton says looking forward to India visit in April

Washington, Jan 27 (PTI) US Secretary of State HillaryClinton has said she is looking forward to her India visit inApril for the next round of bilateral strategic dialogue, asshe underlined that the two countries are forging a strongerpartnership to promote a secure and stable world.
"I look forward to my visit to India in April to advanceour efforts (to forge a stronger strategic partnership) duringthe next session of our Strategic Dialogue," said Clinton, whowould be leading a high power US delegation for talks with NewDelhi.
She said the two nations are bound together by mutualrespect, shared values and the freedoms enshrined in theirConstitutions.
"Our people and governments are forging an evenstronger strategic partnership to promote a secure and stableworld, and support even greater cooperation on economicdevelopment, open government and democratic values," sheadded.
The people of the United States and India, unitedby these shared values and commitment to a safer, more secureworld, are working together to construct what President BarackObama has called an ''indispensable'' partnership for the 21stcentury, Clinton said in a statement yesterday, congratulatingthe people of India on their 62nd Republic Day.
