Srinagar/New Delhi, Jan 27: BJP had already failed in their Ekta Yatra which aimed to hoist the tiranga at Srinagar's Lal Chawk on the Republic Day. UPA government succeeded in preventing them (BJP leaders) to enter Srinagar. But now BJP lashed out at the central and the state government and vowed to take them (UPA government) to the court.

After their overnight detention, senior BJP ledaers like Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley hoisted the national flag at Kathua in Jammu.

But without suppressing their disappointments over government's unconstitutional and illegal, BJP asserted to drag the government to the prosecution.

Party veteran LK Advani stated, "What has happened in JK to deal with BJP's campaign to hoist the national flag at Lal Chowk is something which is totally indefensible....it is illegal and criminal. I think we should knock at the doors of the courts in respect of some of (these issues)."

Advani claimed that the "shameful act" of Omar Abdullah government, the way special trains carrying BJP workers to Jammu and Srinagar were either cancelled or diverted, had not happened even during the Emergency in 1975 during Indiara Gandhi's tenure.

BJP also claimed, "It is ideological surrender and exposes the flawed policy of the UPA over Kashmir."

According the sources, some BJP workers attacked the official car of Finance Minister AR Rather at at Kachi Chawni in Jammu on Jan 26. Later the workers were dispersed the mob and the minister escaped unhurt.
