Bharadwaj-Yeddyurappa spat mars K'taka R-day?
The Chief Minister-Governor spat in Karnataka was notorious for its war of words and a power struggle, the ripples of which reached Delhi as well. But, the meeting between the two was cordial and did not reveal signs of strain, against expectations. They greeted each other cordially and was mostly civil in approach.
This comes after calls from top leaders in the BJP calling for the Governor to be recalled. Yeddyurappa, on the other hand called the governor's go-ahead of the prosecution against him a murder of democracy. Karnataka is caught in a political juggernaut with many scams coming to light during the Yeddyurappa-governance.
15 cases have been filed against Yeddyurappa, with his sons and son-in-laws also being accused in some of them.
