AIFF revises league fixtures due to international commitments

New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Keeping in mind the AFC Cup, AFCChampions League and the Olympic qualifiers, the All IndiaFootball Federation (AIFF) today revised the fixtures of 21I-League matches with Pune FC involved in six of those games.

Pune FC, who was scheduled to play JCT in a 12th roundmatch on January 29 (Saturday) at home, will now face thePunjab team the next day.

While the next round doesn''t see any change, MohunBagan''s 14th round home match against the Pune outfit will beplayed on February 12 instead of 13.

Dates for Pune FC''s matches against Mumbai FC, ChiragUnited, East Bengal and defending champions Dempo have alsobeen altered.

Indian Arrows, earlier called the AIFF XI, will meetbottom-ranked ONGC in a 15th round away match on February 2.

The decision was taken in the I-league committee meetinghere today.

As far as I-League II is concerned, the preliminary roundwill be held from middle to the last week of March, while thefinal round matches will be held from first to the third weekof April at Shillong.

Venues for the preliminary round will be decided oncethe teams and formats are confirmed.
