The new Motorola XT800 is India's first Android smartphone to support dual-SIM (GSM+EVDO/CDMA). The new XT800 handset comes with the configuration of Android 2.2 Froyo and is priced at Rs 31,999.
The XT800 has a 3.7 inch touch screen system, 5 mega pixel camera, and the expandable memory up to 32GB. In XT800, Android is the operating system, it was first developed by Google and later by the Open Handset Alliance, a group of hardware, software and telecom companies worked on it.
The handset has in-built GPS satellite navigation, supported by Goggle maps. It helps the user to figure out the current location and also provides quick and accurate route map for various places.
It comes with an HDMI cable for TV output and a 2GB micro SD card in-box. Motorola XT800 arrives with 550MHz Texas Instruments OMAP3430 processor and has 256MB RAM on board along with 512MB ROM.
