Suicide terror attack shudders Russia; many killed
After the attack on Monday (Jan 24) evening, Russian president Dmitry Medvedev vowed to unveil and punish them who all are there behind the deadly attack and he also added, "We need to make sure that all those who suffered get the required support."
According the eyewitnesses, before triggering the deadly bomb, equivalent of 7kg (15lb) of TNT, in the packed arrivals hall at the airport, the terrorist shouted, "I will kill you all."
Russia experienced several other suicide bombing attacks recently. Two female suicide bomber in Mar 2010 rocked the underground system and the busy metro system in the capital of Russia and 40 people were killed and more than 80 were injured.
This terror attack in one of the most secured places in Russia raised questions against the security of the citizens of the country as airport authorities also stated, "obviously there have been lapses, and we have to get to the bottom of this."
