Rajesh Talwar attacked in Ghaziabad court

Ghaziabad, Jan 25: Dr. Rajesh Talwar, father of slain teenager Aarushi Talwar has been attacked by an unidentified assailant while on his way out of the Ghaziabad court.


The victim has been identified as Utsav Sharma. He was the same person involved in the attack on SPS Rathore who was the accused in the Ruchika Girhothra case. Raghubir Lal, SSP, Ghaziabad Police revealed that the motive behind the attack is not yet clear and the culprit is being questioned.

The unidentified person threw stones at Rajesh Talwar leading to injuries on his forehead. According to media representatives present at the site, Rajesh Talwar was bleeding profusely. The accused was immediately nabbed and beaten up by those present in the court premises.

A minor clash between lawyers and police officials had ensued within the court premises before the attack happened. The lawyers were supposedly protesting the poor security situations in the area.
It has not been confirmed yet whether the assailant was a lawyer himself.

The attack has turned the spotlight on Rajesh Talwar once again especially at the aftermath of CBI declaring Rajesh still an accused in the case.

The attack leads us to think Rajesh Talwar's curious involvement in the Aarushi Talwar murder case. The attack might impact the case proceedings.

The attacker is being questioned by police officials present in the court.
