RSP MD conferred with Eminent Engineer award
Rourkela, Jan 24 (PTI) Managing Director of RourkelaSteel Plant (RSP) was conferred with the "Eminent EngineerAward" by the Institute of Engineers (India), Jharkhand StateCentre, at a recent function in Ranchi recently.
RSP sources said the award was conferred on himat the 24th National Convention of Metallurgical and MaterialsEngineers held at Ranchi.
Singh, a steel man to the core, mastered the art ofsteel making during his 39 year long stint at Steel Authorityof India Limited (SAIL).
Apart from working in important positions in the fourmajor Integrated Steel plants of SAIL at Bhillai, Bokaro,Durgapur and Rourkela, Singh had also contributedsignificantly in implementation of revival package of thefifth Integrated steel plant in IISCO that led to theturnaround of the steel plant.
