When BJP and Congress along with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are busy in their verbal duels, the separatists reportedly are ready to thwart BJP's "dream" to hoist tiranga on the soil of Srinagar on Jan 26.
Separatist groups have planned a rally in Srinagar on the Republic Day when BJP is also expected to reach the city.
BJP senior leader Arun Jaitley, however, stated that BJP's Rashtriya Ekta Yatra is a challenge to the separatists of the valley who had opposed to hoist national flag in Jammu Kashmir and had so far hoisted Pakistan's flag in the valley at several time.
Completely rejecting PM's claim that BJP's tricolour hoisting decision a "divisive programmes," BJP spokesperson stated, "Every year on Jan 26 and Aug 15, separatists burn Indian flags and unfurl the Pakistan flag. That's more worrisome. That is anti-national. That's a real challenge to law and order."
Now, the real challenge has been thrown to the Omar Abdullah and UPA government as both separatists and BJP's actions may harm the valley's peaceful situation which was gained after five months of stone-pelting agitation.
