Kirankumar Reddy launches Rachchabanda programme

Srikakulam, jan 24: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kirankumar Reddy on Monday, Jan 24, said that the Rachchabanda (meaning: public meeting in villages) programme is meant for the welfare of the poor in the state.

Reddy inaugurated the programme at Dolapet in Rajam mandalam of Srikakulam district. Under the Rachchbanda programme, officials will visit each house to review the implementation of the Government welfare schemes, he added.

The chief minister utilised the occasion to interact with the local people and know their problems. He enquired them about sactioning of ration cards and pensions.

The CM was scheduled to participate in another Rachchabanda programme in Bhushini of Vijayanagaram district during the day later.

Reddy paid tributes to late chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy by garlanding his photo on the occasion.

Ministers-Parthasarathi, Dharmana Prasada Rao, state officials and local elected representative participated in the programme.
