Alan Johnson's bodyguard bedded politician's wife, personal assistant

London, Jan 22 (ANI): The cop, who had been British politician Alan Johnson's bodyguard, has been revealed to have bedded the Labour bigwig's wife and his personal assistant.

Specialist Operations PC Paul Rice, who was branded a "24-carat scumbag", and who now guards current Home Secretary Theresa May, was suspended by the horrified Met.

Laura Johnson, 46, whose husband, 60, quit as shadow chancellor to save his marriage, had no idea the cop was also romping with Tracy Windle.

A friend of Windle's told how the charmer, a divorced dad who is in his 40s, left the 50-year-old heartbroken when he got bored and dumped her after two months.

"Rice is a 24-carat scumbag. Betrayals don't get much worse than sleeping with your boss's wife, then two-timing her with his secretary at the same time," the Sun quoted the friend as saying.

The randy Scotland Yard officer is now being investigated for gross misconduct after the Met suspended him. (ANI)
