Student''s body found hanging from tree

Muzaffarnagar, Jan 20 (PTI) The body of a 15-year-oldboy, who went missing on January 18, was found hanging from atree at Tulsipur village in the district, police said heretoday.

Vipul Kumar, a class tenth student, was found hangingfrom the tree here yesterday, they said.

The parents of the victim suspect that their son wasstrangled to death by some men, they said, adding furtherinvestigation is on.

In another case, a 60-year-old woman attempted suicideby jumping into the Ganga canal near Bhopa village in thedistrict, police said today.

However, she was rescued and rushed to a nearbyhospital, they said.
