Jaipur, Jan 19 (PTI) The Ashok Gehlot government todayasked ministers in Rajasthan to make public details of theirassets and liabilities, which will be posted on a website.
"To bring transparency, the council of ministers todaydecided that the details of assets and liabilities would bemade available on website," Chief Minister Gehlot toldreporters after the cabinet meeting, wherein the decision wastaken.
"The discretionary powers of ministers have also beenrelinquished in accordance with UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi''sfive points for corruption-free and transparent governance,"he said.
The details will be available at the websites of CMOand general administration departments.
Gehlot also charged BJP with corruption, saying"Eradication of corruption and bringing transparent system forbetter governance is in the interest of the country and BJPshould welcome and support it".
