Jamshedpur, Jan 19 (PTI) Jharkhand Chief MinisterArjun Munda today filed nomination for the ensuing Kharswanassembly by-elections slated for February 10.
Alleging the Congress was conspiring to destablise thestate government, Munda asserted the people of Kharswan willgive foil the design of the party.
Munda, who was addressing a public meeting afterfiling his nomination for the assembly by-poll, said theanti-people approach of Congress was evident from the hike inpetrol prices at a time when the masses reeled under balooningprice and corruption.
Mocking the Congress on the development issue inJharkhand, Munda asked "why did it supported President''s rulein the past?"
Predicting favourable response from the electorate,Munda claimed his filing nomination from Kharswan was onlya formality as the people always stood for the stability ofthe state.
