Jaipur, Jan 19 (PTI) The BJP today termed ChiefMinister Ashok Gehlot''s direction to ministers asking them torelinquish their discretionary powers as an act of"hypocrisy".
"The state government is corrupt and has alreadydumped the five points suggested by Sonia Gandhi by gettinginvolved in corrupt practices," BJP''s state spokesperson SunilBhargava alleged.
"There are several issues which put question marks onthe transparency of the state government. He is trying topresent a ''clean image'' of himself by issuing letters toministers to relinquish discretionary powers," he said.
Gehlot had yesterday issued letters to ministersasking them relinquish their discretionary powers.
