Weather summary for MP, C''garh and Vidarbha

Nagpur, Jan 18 (PTI) Following is the combined weathersummary for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha issuedby the Nagpur Regional Meteorological centre here today.

Summary: Cold wave condition prevailed at isolated placesin Vidarbha and north Madhya Pradesh. Dry weather continuouslyprevailed over the region. Minimum temperature roseappreciably over west Madhya Pradesh, rose over south-eastMadhya Pradesh and changed little over rest of the region.

They were markedly below normal over west Vidarbha,appreciably below normal in east Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh,below normal over East Madhya Prdesh and South-West MadhyaPradesh and normal over North-West Madhya Pradesh.

Amravati, Akola and Wasim recorded the highest maximumtemperature of 30 degree Celsius while Nagpur and Yeotmallowest minimum temperature of 8 d cls.

Forecast: Dry weather will prevail over the region.

Warning: Cold wave condition many occur at isolatedplaces over the north Madhya Pradesh, during next 24 hours.

Local forecast: Clear sky, maximum and minimumtemperature would be around 30 and 9 d cls respectively.

Farmers bulletin: Dry weather will prevail over Vidarbha.
