Kanpur, Jan 16 (PTI) The District administration hasdecided to provide a house to the family of the 12-year-oldgirl who was allegedly sexually assaulted at Bharatiya GyanSthali School at Kalayanpur area here, a senior official saidtoday.
The family will be provided a house under KashiramAwas Yogna which is aimed at poor people lacking housingfacilities and the required process will be initiatedtomorrow, District Magistrate Mukesh Meshram told PTI today.
The girl''s family is living under a tin shed after theowner ousted them from their rented accommodation at RoshanNagar area here, he said.
The landlord evicted the family from their house inRoshan Nagar 15 days after the incident fearing bad name insociety, the victim''s mother Sonu Bhadauria told PTI today.
"We have to face a lot of hardships due to lack ofelectricity and water facilities in the tin shed provided byone of our relatives," she said.
"We are not able to send our six-year-old daughterDiksha to school after me and my husband lost jobs as we hadto skip work to visit court and police station so as to getjustice," she said.
On September 27, the girl was allegedly sexuallyassaulted at Bharatiya Gyan Sthali School. The girl was sentback home along with two maids and her mother was informed ather work place, according to the victim''s family.
The victim was admitted to a hospital where she diedthe same day.
On October 23, the Uttar Pradesh government orderedthe CB-CID probe into the case which filed a charge-sheetagainst Piyush, the school manager''s younger son and mainaccused, in a court in Kanpur.
The state government has already suspended an SP, SHOand inspector on January 12 and ordered an inquiry against thethen DIG of Kanpur Prem Prakash.
