'BJP in MP sheltered Samjhauta blast wanted'

New Delhi, Jan 17: Congress General Secretary Digvijiay Singh on Sunday, Jan 16 accused BJP and RSS leaders in Madhya Pradesh (MP) of providing shelter and financial help to three suspects involved in Samjhauta Express blast. Samjhauta train blast on Feb 17, 2007, killed 68 people, that included most of Pakistanis.

"My allegation is that when these people were absconding, senior BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh provided them shelter and monetary help. We want the whole case to be exposed after a proper probe," Singh said.

The three suspects namely Sandeep Dange, Ramchandra Kalsangra and Ashok are on the look-out in connection with Samjhauta Express blast. A cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh each have been announced for anyone who can give information on Dange and Kalsangra, whereas a Rs. 2 lakh cash prize for anyone pointing out Ashok's whereabouts. The rewards have been issued by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Digivijiay also accused that ruling government in MP, BJP, was protecting the perpetrators, those involved in Joshi's murder and demanded the CBI probe into the crime.
