Rajasthan Royals retain Dole, Raut; add pacer Samad Fallah

Mumbai, Jan 15 (PTI) Inaugural champions Rajasthan Royalstoday retained all-rounder Abhishek Raut and pacer Aditya Doleand signed up paceman Samad Falah for the fourth edition ofthe Indian Premier League.

All the three players have represented Maharashtra in thedomestic circuit.

Fallah will make his IPL debut if he gets into the finalXI in the Twenty20 tournament, beginning April 8.

"Abhishek and Aditya have impressed in the previouseditions and are established Royals, whilst Samad Fallah hasbeen attracting our attention with his performances in thedomestic season," Sean Morris, CEO, Rajasthan Royals said in apress release.

"We are delighted to announce the signings of theseplayers and we look forward to all three players showing thefans their talents when they sport the Rajasthan Royalscolours in the IPL," he added.

Aditya Dole is a right-arm medium-pacer who has playedfirst-class matches for Maharashtra. His first Ranji Trophygame was against Rajasthan in December 2007 but his careerhighlight came the following year, when he took 10 for 63 inan innings for Maharashtra in a CK Nayudu Trophy match againstRajasthan.

Raut made his first class debut against Tamil Nadu in2005. His claim to fame was when he steered Rajasthan Royalsto a victory over Deccan Chargers when he scored a matchwinning unbeaten 36 from 23 balls.

Fallah is a left arm medium pacer who features inMaharashtra�s first class squad.

Samad began his successful innings in professionalcricket in 2005 with Poona Club. His first class debut wasagainst Himachal Pradesh in Dharamsala in 2007.

He has taken over 100 wickets in 24 first class matcheswith a strike rate of 28.05 and best figures of 8 for 98. PTIAT
