JCT blank Air India 2-0

Ludhiana, Jan 15 (PTI) JCT FC blanked Air India, Mumbai2-0 in the ninth round in the ongoing I-league at Guru NanakStadium here today.

After wasting a couple of scoring chances by both theteams, JCT earned lead in the second half (61st minute) ONurain Kareem found the target after intercepting the ballfrom midfielder Randeep Singh.

Home side enhanced the lead, three minutes later off arebound taken by Ibrahim (2-0).

JCT have now secured 11 points from nine matches toimprove their position at point table (8th position) whereasthe visitors are still struggling and are placed at the bottomwith five points from as many matches.
