Omar government ''most corrupt'': PDP
Jammu, Jan 14 (PTI) Opposition PDP today slammed theOmar Abdullah-led government in Jammu and Kashmir for being"most corrupt" and said the Chief Minister is repeating thesame blunders which were committed by the previous NationalConference regime under his father Farooq Abdullah.
"Present dispensation is one of the most corrupt andanti-people regime of the State. The present NC government isrepeating the same blunders which were committed by theprevious National Conference regime from 1996 to 2002," PDPgeneral secretary Thakur Balbir Singh told a public meeting inKathua district.
He flayed the government on the public distributionsystem and said due to rampant corruption rations meant forpoor people are being sold in open market. "Miseries ofthe people have been increased manifold after formation ofNational Conference-led regime in the State."
The PDP leader said the government is "be fooling"people by making "false promises" as there is no improvementin power sector and there is acute water shortage in thestate.
"What to say of solving problems of the people, thisregime is further compounding woes of the people due to itswrong policies," he observed.
