Headmaster, two teachers suspended for dereliction of duty

Jammu, Jan 15 (PTI) A headmaster and two teachers weresuspended for allegedly remaining absent from their duties inJammu district of Jammu and Kashmir.

During a surprise visit by the Director SchoolEducation M A Qurashi to the schools of Surinsar belt ofJammu district, two teachers - Vina Devi and Sarita Devi -andschool headmaster Joginder Singh were found absent from theirduty yesterday, they said, adding all the three weresuspended.

Authorities also suspended Madan Lal, an employee ofGrameen Vikas Bank, as he was found under the influence ofliquor while on duty in Billawara area of Kathua districttoday, they said.
