Three persons arrested for killing, eating rabbit
Indore, Jan 13 (PTI) Three persons, including twoforest department watchmen, were arrested on the charge ofkilling a rabbit near here, officials said today.
The trio -- Ramsingh Nanuram, Gabbu Gulab andPhoolchandra -- killed the rabbit in the forested area ofBarkheda last night, and ate it, forest department officialssaid.
Ramsingh and Gabbu, both watchmen with the forestdepartment, were deputed to a project that is being carriedout under Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Schemein Barkheda, they said.
The axe used for committing the crime has been recoveredfrom the spot, they said.
