Dhanbad (Jharkhand), Jan 13(PTI) The Bharatiya JanataYuva Morcha national president Anurag Thakur today claimedthat no power on earth can stop him from hoisting thetricolour at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on January 26.
"I will hoist the tricolour at Lal Chowk on January 26.
Being an Indian it my fundamental right to hoist the nationalflat at any corner of the country," Thakuar, who is leadingthe BJYM''s Rashtriya Ekta Yatra from Kolkata to Kashmir saidthe Godhar ground here.
The BJYM president alleged that the Congress party isopposing his move to hoist the tricolour at Lal Chowk. "Iwould like to ask the Congress party why they are opposingBJYM hoisting the national flag at Lal Chowl? he asked.
Brushing aside the theory that his action would intensifyagitation of separist forces in valley Anurag Thakur said whenever they (separatist forces) raised their ugly head BhartiyaJanta Party came out for awareness of people against it.
Thakur alleged that the Congress party is busy inencouraging separatist forces and corruption in the country.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda while welcoming theRastriya Ekta Yatra said that people of Jharkhand are with him(Thakur).
The Ekta yatra was flagged off at Kolkata on Wednesdayand its second halt was Dhanbad on way to Kashmir.
