''Entire Kashmir could have been ours but for Nehru''s mistake''
Chhatarpur(MP),Jan 13 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Chief MinisterShivraj Singh Chouhan today said that the whole of Kashmircould have been part of India if the first Prime MinisterJawaharlal Nehru had not commited certain mistakes.
"If Jawaharlal Nehru had not called for cease fire and thefirst war with Pakistan in 1947 would have continued for twomore days, the entire Kashmir could have become part ofIndia," Chouhan said addressing a function of BJP Yuva Morchaat Khajuraho near here.
"Nehru made a historic mistake," he remarked.
He said that after Indepedence, the work of incorporatingthe princely states with India was assigned to the then HomeMinister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, but Nehru kept the Kashmirissue in his hand.
Terming the BJP Yuva Morcha activists as patriots,Chouhan said that they will surely hoist the tri-colour atSrinagar''s Lal Chowke on January 26.
Taking a dig at the people speaking in favour of Kashmirseparatists, he said that they should have a place in jail.
