Driver''s family members arrested, Rs 86 lakh recovered

Jaipur, Jan 13 (PTI) Police have arrested five familymembers of the driver who had sped away in a van containingover Rs one crore here, and recovered around Rs 86 lakh fromtheir possession.

However, the main accused Mohan Lal Jaiswal is stillabsconding and is being located, the police said.

"Jaiswal''s wife, their daughter, son and two otherswere arrested from West Bengal, where they hail from. ARajasthan police team nabbed them from their hometown," DeputyCommissioner Jaipur (South) Jose Mohan told PTI.

The accused was employed with a private security firmand had driven away the van carrying around Rs 1.11 crorewhich were to be placed in different ATMs on Monday when thesecurity guard and other employees of the firm had gone todeposit cash in an ATM.

However, the vehicle and around Rs 15 lakh wererecovered the same day.

Jaiswal was residing with his family in a rentedaccommodation at Ajmer road here and had left theaccommodation soon after the crime.
