The expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh has accused his former party of carrying out what he called a "murderous attack" on Rahul Gandhi during the young Congress leader's recent visit to Uttar Pradesh. The fact was revealed through his latest blog where Amar Singh made references to Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav and Azam Khan and has used the medium to vent his apparent disgust towards them. He also criticised the party of using him and then ditching him after their needs have been met.
"Sometimes black balloons are hurled at the vehicle of a popular actress (Jaya Prada) of the country, and sometimes a murderous attack is made on Rahul Gandhi while he is going silently to the university complex for a lecture; this is undignified politics," Amar Singh blurted out in his blog.
Rahul Gandhi's security breach in Allahabad had caused high concern with UPA supporters on Monday.
Amar Singh caused a stink by indirectly attacking Mulayam Singh Yadav verbally and said, "If somebody stays loyal for 14 years he gets the status of number 2 but declared a 'pimp and supplier' when he opposes the opposition to computers, English and tractors."
Amar Singh also takes a dig at Mulayam for his association with an MLA "who makes a woman pregnant and murders her when he changes parties to make him chief minister."
