2 get life term for killing youth
Muzaffanagar, Jan 13 (PTI) A local court today sentencedtwo persons to life imprisonment after they were convicted ofkilling a youth five years ago in Budhana for having affairwith the sister of one of the guilty.
Addition Sessions Judge Ramesh Chandra Diwakar sentencedMubin Saifi and Aas Mohammed to life and also slapped a fineof Rs 5,000 each, holding them guilty of killing IrshadQureshi.
According to the prosecution, a 21-year-old Qureshi hadan affair with the sister of Mubin, but the girl''s family didnot approve of their relationship.
On February 14, 2005, Irshad was stabbed to death byMubin and two of his accomplices at Budhana town.
They were later arrested and murder weapons wererecovered, the prosecution said, adding that one of theaccused has been referred to the juvenile court as he wasminor.
