New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Three young lawyers, includinga woman advocate, today ended up getting a lesson in decencyand decorum from the Delhi High Court after they entered intoan unsavoury argument with each other inside the court roomright in the presence of judges.

The incident occurred before a division bench of ChiefJustice Dipak Misra and Justice Sanjiv Khanna soon after itordered Delhi Municipal Corporation to take requisite actionas per law against illegal encroachment on the way to a mosquein central Delhi.

Apparently not sure if its rebuke will have a soberingimpact on the three lawyers, the bench also asked the highcourt''s bar association president A S Chandhiok and Delhi BarCouncil chairman Rakesh Tikku to further counsel the trio onhow to behave in courts and elsewhere.

The three entered into an argument as the womanlawyer, buoyed by her success in securing a favourable orderfor removal of the illegal encroachments, remarked that shewould file a plea for launching contempt of court proceedingsagainst MCD in case they do not obey the court order properlyand promptly.

The woman lawyer''s remark caught the attention ofher male colleagues appearing for the alleged encroacher.

They promptly objected to it saying "do whatever you like".
