Two witnesses appear in Noida land allotment case
Ghaziabad, Jan 11 (PTI) Two Noida DevelopmentAuthority employees have appeared before a special CBI courtin connection with a land allotment case in which former UPchief secretary and CEO of the Noida Development AuthorityNeera Yadav is involved.
B B Thapa and Tribhuwan Singh appeared as witnessesyesterday in the case in which Yadav has been charged withanomalies in allotment of land to an IAS officer Rajiv Kumar.
Yadav did not appear and was represented by hercounsel Sudhir Tyagi.
The next date of hearing has been fixed for February7.
Yadav was sentenced to four years of imprisonment onDecember 7 by a special CBI court here after it found herguilty of large-scale bungling in allotment of plots as chiefof Noida Development Authority seven years back.
She was later granted bail by the High Court onDecember 13.
