Rajesh Talwar expressed fears that the information accessed through hacking might be misused by certain elements. "I was surprised when on the morning of December 23 some of my friends called me up asking me if I needed any help. Mails were sent from my account to my friends telling them that I was in some foreign land and needed help. It was then that I found that my e-mail account was hacked," Rajesh Talwar said.
He added, "I check my e-mail account on almost daily basis as this is the only account that has been used by us to communicate with the CBI on matters related to Aarushi's murder. I fear it can be misused. Everything that they (CBI) wanted to know from us about Aarushi which could be of help in the investigation was communicated to us through email and if we had any queries they would send replies to this account"
The Aarushi Talwar case has found new prominence recently when the CBI submitted its closure report on the case due to lack of tangible evidence. The 14 year old girl was found to be brutally murdered along with the Talwar's househelp Hemraj. The case is still under investigation.
