New Delhi, Jan 8: Delhi residents are in for yet another chilly morning this Saturday, Jan 8. The fog has blanketed the city with normal life adversely affected. Road, air and train traffic has taken a beating due to poor visibility conditions.

An official in the India Meteorological Department said, "Cold weather conditions are set to continue during the weekend as well. The maximum and minimum temperature is expected to be around 16 degrees and 4 degrees on Saturday."

Close to five flights were cancelled and 66 train services disrupted. The visibility at the Indira Gandhi International Airport was between 175 metres and 225 metres. Road traffic was also affected with visibility reduced to 50 metres.

Though the temperature has seen a rise, the fog has played spoilsport for weekend revelers in Delhi. RK Jenamani, director in charge, IGI Met has revealed, "There has been a significant change in weather over the past day. A fresh spell of fog seems to be developing while a change in wind pattern due to a passing western disturbance has led to incursion of moisture in the atmosphere. On Saturday morning, there are chances of CAT-III dense fog and temperatures are likely to rise."
