Las Vegas, Jan 7: Apart from Android tablets, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 at Las Vegas has been witnessing an array of 4G smartphones from big players like HTC, Samsung and Motorola. Earlier, HTC has showcased their new flagship smartphone Thunderbolt and Motorola unveiled Cliq 2 QWERTY handset. Now, world's second largest mobile phone manufacturer Samsung has announced the latest 4G smartphone, SCH i520.

The 4G powered Samsung SCH i520 runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and is powered with 1Ghz processor. This new sensation will be available through Verizon in United States. SCH i520 offers a new entertainment experience on Verizon 4G LTE network.

Samsung SCH i520 has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Capacitive display with multi-touch and proxomity sensor. This Samsung smartphone also has dual cameras, 8 megapixel at rear with dual LED flash and a 1.3 megapixel at front for video calling.

Other additional features include preloaded Google Mobile apps and access to Android Market, where users can download unlimited apps. It also gives in-built Facebook and Twitter apps for better connectivity with friends and family.
