New Delhi, Jan 7: A Delhi court on Friday, Jan 7, favored Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy, related to his complaint against A Raja. The Delhi court said that the complaint lodged by Swamy against then Telecom Minister A Raja, over his 2G spectrum allocation scam case is 'maintainable'.

The Special CBI Judge Pradeep Chaddah, said, "I am of the opinion that complaint as such is maintainable."

"I will first testify as a complainant and then would like to assist this court in prosecuting the accused in the massive scam," said Swamy

“The first major obstacle is now gone to prosecute Raja. I have impeccable evidence," Swamy added.

The Judge Pradeep Chaddah said, "I have also gone through the complaint and the bunch of annexures and supporting documents and I am of the view that this complaint is maintainable and the proceeding will continue."

The court asked Swamy to record his statement as a complaint before it decides his plea in constituting a deemed public prosecutor to prosecute the Telecom Minister A Raja in the case.

According to CAG report, the irregularities in 2G spectrum allocation have imposed 1.76 lakh crore revenue loss for the country.
