Karunanidhi snubs PM; Raja divides Cong-DMK?
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK supremo, Karunanidhi on Jan 2 skipped a dinner hosted for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Chennai and preferred to meet his (Karunanidhi) poet friend.
Stating about his absence at the airport to welcome the PM Manmohan Singh, Karunanidhi claimed, "I had to go to the airport to receive the Prime Minister, this is part of protocol, but I came here (poet's function) because I wanted to honour a poet."
DMK, a key ally of Congress led UPA government faced tremendous criticism over DMK leader A Raja's alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum scandal and Raja was forced to resign from telecom ministry.
How

Few days back, Singh also had cancelled his inaugural programme of the DMK government's Adyar Park project due to a last minute glitch.
However, both Karunanidhi and the Prime Minister are expected to meet on Monday, Jan 3 at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai and during the meeting the CM of Tamil Nadu is expected to discuss with PM about the fund for relief works over in the state.
