Also there was Suresh Kalmadi who remains in the news with new controversies cropping up every single day witn flawed contracts. Lalit Modi looked like a small fish amongst all, even as the face of IPL had to face music of a different kind in player auctions.

The suave Wikileaks boss catapulted the whistle blower website to new heights, making Wikileaks an official entry in the Lexicon dictionary and making Julian Assange synonymous with 'bold journalism'. Niira Radia, has become the godmother of lobbyism with establishing a multi-crore business empire in a span of 9 years.

Swami Nityananda, the self-imposed godman was in the news for all the wrong reasons. His sexual exploits with an actress became top news in all the media and was aired on tv channels.
