New Delhi, Dec 28: The row in Indian politics over the demand of Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe does not show any sign to be ceased. Opposition BJP continued their adamant demand over JPC probe as they claimed, 'While PAC deals with accounts, JPC deals with accountability and governance."

However, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday, Dec 28 tweeted BJP will attend a meeting called by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to break the logjam between the government and opposition parties.

'We will attend the meeting called by Hon'ble Speaker,' the BJP leader stated while tweeting.

"Under the Lok Sabha Rules, PAC (Public Accounts Committee) cannot call a Minister, much less the Prime Minister. (The) Prime Minister's offer therefore, has no meaning," Sushma added while stating about PM's letter willingness to appear before PAC.

Following the 2G spectrum scam, former telecom minister A Raja was forced to resign from his post and several names of politicians came up during the investigation.

While Opposition parties were stick to their demand of JPC investigation into the matter, Congress led UPA government still believed that PAC is enough to deal with the investigation in 2G spectrum scandal.
