Nationwide terror alert issued; Taj targeted again
Union Home Ministry on Dec 27 issued red alert in all around the country on information from the Intelligence Bureau that terror attacks were possible in places visited by Pakistani terrorist David Headley, the main suspect of Mumbai 2008 attacks.
Tight security has been beefed up in Mumbai during the Christmas time and Mumbai police also released the pictures of four terrorists whose presence have been observed in the city.

Earlier on Dec 27, security was beefed in Karnataka over possible terror attack during the New Year celebration.

Sources also informed that specific alerts have been issued for the Taj Mahal monument in Agra and the Taj hotel in Mumbai.
Taj hotel in Mumbai was one of the venues where the terrorists showed their action of wrath during 26/11 Mumbai attack in 2008.
