Interlocutors in search of answers to JK issue
The Interlocutors will visit many districts like, Jammu, Rajauri, Poonch, Doda and Srinagar and interact with locals and organizations to figure out solutions for the Kashmir issue.
Once the Interlocutors submit the views of people on the Kashmir problem to broad contours, it would be carefully viewed by the Cabinet Committee on Security before executing the suggestions.
Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said, “previous two reports from Interlocutors on Jammu and Kashmir were dealt properly with trust building measures."
Sources said that based on the reports, demilitarization steps have been taken, 66 youths has been released while 22 cases of Public Safety Act has been withdrawn.
