Pak has to grill terror: India tells China

New Delhi, Dec 16: Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said on Thursday, Dec 16, that India and China discussed about the terrorism generating from Pakistan soil, during the delegation level of talks between two nations. PM Manmohan Singh and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held formal conversation at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

Rao said, “we clearly conveyed China that we will develop dialogs and go forward for a substantive growth between India and Pakistan relationship once they address the Pakistan sponsor terrorism and grill anti-India groups that working in Pakistan."

“Not only India even China is concerned about terrorism. The fact is that only when terrorism is handled properly we will have a stable region. It also affects China," she said.

Rao said that Wen spoke about terrorism in Xinjiang (in China) and expressed sympathy for brave hearts and victims of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
