Parliament Winter Session ends; a 'futile'
The opposition was raising slogans like, “form JPC or quit power" and ruling parties members were shouting that “we want PAC." Winter session didn't show any changes, rather continued to impasse.
Following the non-stop ruckus in House, Ms Kumar adjourned the House till 12 pm. The House met the day just for paying tribute to the victims and the security people who sacrificed their life during attack. The business in the House didn't show any significance even at the end of the Winter Session.
The opposition is still demanding for JPC probe, even after government had raided top officials and others related to 2G spectrum scam. The fact of Parliament deadlock is, it as wasted 114 crucial business hours.
The opposition has planned a rally against the corruption at the Ram Lila Maidan on Dec 22, to keep this issue burning till the budget session, which starts from Feb 2011.
