Two Swedish women who were apparently the victim of Assange's sexual advances have come out into the open and claimed that all they wanted was to test Assange for sexually transmitted diseases (STD). They also added that Assange refused to see a doctor after the sexual encounters with the two women in August. This prompted the women to register a complaint with the police.
The women were initially reluctant to file charges against him, but were miffed when he refused to take calls from the women. Assange was extremely cautious and protected his identity out of fear of being traced following the controversial Wikileaks expose.
Assange is being held in UK at the moment and will be held in custody till Dec 14. His lawyers said that he would fight for extradition to Sweden.
