Washington, Dec 7: The whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks has said that the arrest of its founder Julian Assange would not stop the publication of United States diplomatic cables.

WikiLeaks has said on Tuesday, Dec 7 that they will continue the publication of cables. WikiLeaks said that the arrest of Assange is an act against freedom of speech.

British police had arrested Julian Assange in connection with the rape case in Sweden.

Meanwhile, an Australian newspaper has started publishing an Op-Ed sent by Julian Assange. He asked them to publish it after his arrest. In the letter, Assange said about freedom of speech and about the corrupt Australian politicians.

Swedish authorities had issued the arrest warrant against Julian Assange in charge of rape, sexual molestation and and illegal use of force. This warrant has been received by Scotland Yard on Monday and followed the arrest.

Earlier, Julian Assange told that WikiLeaks will release more "sever" cables in case of any threat against him or the website.
