Snow causes crosswalk sign in US to show middle finger
Washington, Dec 3 (ANI): A crosswalk sign in the US, which shocked many when it showed the middle finger instead of the full hand signal, has now been fixed.
The signal at a crosswalk in Spokane, Washington, was showing the "Walk" and "Don't Walk" signs, but when it came to the electronic sign's raised hand, which is the universal signal to stop, it was missing some fingers.
The hand was missing two fingers on the left and one on the right, leaving the middle digit proudly standing alone.
Spokane spokeswoman Marlene Feist said no offence was intended, and it had all been caused by bad weather.
"We fixed it, snow was embedded in the electric sign," Fox News quoted her as saying. (ANI)
