Parl deadlock continues; both Houses adjourned

Indian Parliament
New Delhi, Dec 1: Following the uproar by the Opposition, both Houses of Parliament have adjourned for the day on Wednesday, Dec 1. Houses adjourned for the 13th day in a row without any proceedings.

Opposition raised slogans demanding Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe to the 2G spectrum scam. Both houses deadlocked with "we want JPC" slogans.

Earlier on Tuesday Nov 29, the all party meeting called by Lok Sabha speaker Miera Kumar was ended without finding any solution for Parliament logjam. After the meeting, Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) leaders told that they will allow the Parliament to function only after the approval of JPC probe to the 2G scam.

Later, UPA has issued whip to its members to attend the Parliament session for the approval of important bills.
